Rebecca Etheridge, EdD serves as an assistant professor and the Director of Ultrasound Education for the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University which is located in Augusta, Georgia. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (1993) and a Master of Health Education degree (2001). She completed her doctoral degree in Education with a major in Educational Innovation with a Curriculum and Instruction concentration at Augusta University in May 2019. She has 29 years of teaching experience with such learners as undergraduate sonography students, medical students, residents, fellows, and practicing physicians. Currently, she oversees the curriculum and training of students and residents in ultrasound, telemedicine, distance education, and experiential learning.
