Brooks Lindsey is Assistant Professor in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University. Dr. Lindsey develops interventional imaging systems that use ultrasound. This is important because 3D ultrasound visualization and guidance can reduce lengthy procedures, complication rates, and exposure to ionizing radiation. In 2022, he received the New Investigator Award from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
