Cara Pollei is a Senior Compliance Monitor with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, where she is responsible for Training in the Compliance Division. She has been in the housing industry since 2003, where she began as a leasing agent at an affordable housing community in San Angelo, Texas. She is an alumni of Angelo State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 2004. She continued to work as a property manager for years until joining TDHCA as a Compliance Monitor in 2017.
