Mark Vanderhoof has over 40 years of experience in multifamily maintenance, and Mark started his career in multifamily as a porter at the age of seventeen. Mark spent 22 years in the field as a service manager before taking a position as a national trainer for HD Supply in 2007. He worked closely with Paul Rhodes to update the content and presentations for the national training team. Mark is an award-winning instructor, certified public speaker, and a recognized subject matter expert by the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI), who has presented at NAA and other industry conferences. Mark taught himself how to do graphic design and course development with programs like Illustrator, Captivate, and Storyline to create online courses for companies within the multifamily industry. As Grace Hill’s Director of Maintenance Content, Mark is responsible for both the concept and the writing of the Safety Series, updating the Basic Maintenance series, and writing Standard Operating Procedures for Policy Partners. Mark is currently the Service Training Manager for RPM Living.
