Investigator VI Texas Workforce Commision-Civil Rights Division
Session Description: When you receive a Fair Housing Complaint for the failure to grant a request for a reasonable accommodation for a person with a disability, you and your owner can end up personally liable. How you respond to the Complaint during the investigation is critical to one of two potential outcomes, either the issuance of a charge of discrimination or a determination of no reasonable cause. An experienced Texas Workforce Investigator and trainer will take you inside HUD’s expectations regarding the investigation and interview process; a seasoned Fair Housing defense attorney will help you understand the basics and how to appropriately respond. This presentation will educate you about the elements of a fair housing violation and how an investigator will apply the facts of the case to reach the final determination of the complaint.

gain a fresh and updated perspective into HUD's requirements of TWCCRD's investigators for accommodation complaints.
