Session Description: Hiring and retaining on-site talent continues to be one of the top three concerns for multifamily executive leaders in 2023. While compensation is a contributing factor, on-site team members are voicing other, more controllable, factors that can make all the difference in staffing levels. This session will provide multifamily employee engagement trends through Q1 2023 by position category to provide insight into what roles continue to be at greatest risk, and what roles are leveling off and improving when it comes to retention. In addition, employee feedback will be shared that highlights what motivates and keeps each role at their current companies, and what obstacles and roadblocks are causing them to leave their employer and this industry.
