Dr. Prashant V Rajan is a final year orthopaedic surgery resident with a focus on spine surgery. He is currently completing his training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he has received the Joseph Cash, MD award for original investigation and professional excellence in cost-effectiveness, health resource utilization, and pharmacoeconomics and also the 2020 MetroHealth Medical Center Alvin Arthur Freehafer, MD award for excellence in orthopaedic trauma surgery. He earned his MD degree with honors (cum laude) from Harvard Medical School. He is an incoming fellow in orthopaedic spine surgery at Emory University starting in 2023-2024. Dr. Rajan has over 25 peer-reviewed publications and 25 professional presentations in the fields of medicine, orthopaedic surgery, and spine surgery. He is a member of various professional societies including the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Harvard Club of Northeast Ohio. He also serves as a reviewer for journals such as PLoS ONE and The Spine Journal.
