Edwin Kulubya is a Chief Neurosurgery resident at the University of California Davis, and incoming Pediatric Neurosurgery Shillito Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital. He is a graduate of Columbia University and the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. As a resident, he was drawn to pediatric neurosurgery due to the breadth and complexity of pediatric neurosurgical disorders. He enjoys being able to communicate and guide children and their families through the treatment of disease. Under the guidance of Dr. Diana Farmer, the principial investigator of the MOMS trial, he has been researching cellular therapy for both the fetal treatment of spina bifida and spinal cord injury. He is eager to continue research in the realm of neuroprotection and repair of spinal cord injury throughout his career.
