David Mazur-Hart, MD is a clinical fellow of complex spinal deformity/tumor in the department of neurological surgery at University of California, San Francisco. He was born in Salem, OR and was an undergraduate at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. He went to medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA where he developed a passion for the neurosciences with fantastic mentors like Paul Aravich, PhD and Dana Adkins, MD. He attended Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR where he developed an interest in complex spine from faculty Josiah Orina, MD, David Yam, MD, and Andrew Ryu, MD. He is currently the complex spine fellow of Christopher Ames, MD and Aaron Clark, MD, PhD. He will return to OHSU as an assistant professor of neurological surgery.
