Patricia Sullivan, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Rhode Island Hospital and the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. She completed her undergraduate at Harvard University, then went on to medical school at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. During her time at Hopkins, she worked in the Hunterian Laboratory and completed a two-year research fellowship. After medical school, Dr. Sullivan completed her residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania. During residency, she was awarded an NIH T32 Grant for studying regenerative technologies in spinal cord injury. Dr. Sullivan then went on to Brown University for a fellowship in complex spine and spine oncology. She is currently the Director of the Center for Spine Tumor and Chordoma Research at Rhode Island Hospital.
