Salazar A. Jones, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Jones completed his neurosurgical training at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the prestigious R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Jones earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned a degree in bioengineering from the world-renowned Stanford University. Dr. Jones conducts research in the areas of traumatic brain injury, traumatic spinal cord injury, brain monitoring, health disparities, and qualitative research on patient centered outcomes.
