Dr Gurtej Singh, MD, FAAPMR is ACGME board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in the sub-specialty of Pain Medicine. He serves as Lead Interventional specialist at the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, practicing within the Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland division. His professional passion has lead him to champion neuromodulation, vertebral augmentation, and minimally invasive surgical spine procedures. Over his young career, he has been mentored by Neurosurgeons and Orthopaedic Spine surgeons allowing him unique access to their operating rooms. He serves as Chair of the Interventional Pain Member Community within the AAPMR, two committees within ASPN, and a MIPS committee member within NASS. Close collaboration with spine surgeons is not only a benefit to patient care, but is even more critical as minimally-invasive techniques are used in our fields.
Personally, Dr Singh was born and raised in Philadelphia. His two parents and younger brother are also physicians. He is an avid sports fan, enjoyed playing tennis at the collegiate level, and looks forward to getting back to traveling post-pandemic.
