Maria Lucia Madariaga, MD, is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Chicago specializing in thoracic surgery, complex airway disorders and lung transplantation. She received her MD from Harvard Medical School and completed her general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
