I am an associate professor in the division of cardiovascular surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine. I am also the director of the physician assistant residency program, surgical director of the transcatheter valve program and the associate director of the UF Health Aortic Disease Center.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Columbia University and medical degree from the UF College of Medicine. I completed general surgery residency and a postdoctoral research fellowship in cardiac surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. My fellowship was in cardiothoracic surgery and advanced aortic procedures at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
I am a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American Heart Association, Southern Thoracic Surgical Association and Florida Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons.
