Dr. Nguyen is the Chief of the Division of Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery and Co-Director of the Heart and Vascular Center at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He is also the Helen and Charles Schwab Distinguished Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Nguyen specializes in complex adult cardiac surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, robotic surgery, and transcatheter technologies. Dr. Nguyen also has a strong interest in education and mentorship.
