Dr. Bonner completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University and her medical education at University of California-San Francisco. Her passion for surgery and health services research led her to complete her Master’s in Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health focused on Health Policy during medical schol. During the completion of her MPH, she conducted research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology focused on disparities in oncologic care delivery. She has completed three years of clinical residency in General Surgery at the University of Michigan. She is now in her academic development time as a post-doctoral fellow in both the National Clinician Scholars Program and NIH T32 Research Training Program in Lung Disease at the University of Michigan. She plans to pursue a career as a Thoracic surgeon.
