I am a surgical oncologist specializing in the multidisciplinary care of patients with breast cancer, melanoma, and other skin cancers. After completing my fellowship in surgical oncology at the John Wayne Cancer Institute, I joined the Division of Surgical Oncology at the Ohio State University where I had the opportunity to introduce and expand the use of oncoplastic breast conserving surgical techniques and nipple-sparing mastectomy in central Ohio, as well as participate in clinical trials of minimally invasive inguinal lymphadenectomy, IORT boost during oncoplastic breast conserving surgery, de-escalation of surgical therapy, and autologous, tumor lysate pulsed dendritic cell vaccination for patients with high-risk, resected melanoma. After spending 8 years at Ohio State, I joined the University of Southern California where I served as the Chief of the Division of Breast, Endocrine & Soft Tissue Surgery, Surgical Director of the Comprehensive Breast Program, and Program Director of the USC-Hoag Breast Oncology Fellowship. I was recently recruited to Cedars Sinai Cancer at Huntington Hospital Cancer Center in Pasadena, where I now serve as the Regional Director of Surgical Oncology and I am working to bring leading edge multidisciplinary cancer care and clinical trials to the community setting.
