Dr. Alessandra Borghi is a senior resident in General Surgery at the University of Milan, Italy.
She graduated at the University of Milan in Medicine and Surgery in 2018 with honours, and began her residency at the same university. Since then she has worked across mulitple hospitals associated with the University of Milan, mostly studying and practicing abdominal surgery, including hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery and liver transplants.
During her residency, Dr. Borghi has deepened her interest for surgical oncology. Lately, she has worked in the Sarcome Unit at Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan, specifically focusing her clinical and research activities on mesenchymal tumors in adults.
