Julia Persky is a second year medical student at the University of California, Davis class of 2025. She is originally from a rural town in Northern California and received her B.S. in Molecular Environmental Biology at UC Berkeley with high distinction. Julia is president of both the UC Davis Surgery Interest Group and UC Davis Medical School Chapter of Socially Responsible Surgery. She loves the outdoors and spends her free time hiking and skiing. She is excited to pursue a career in surgical oncology following medical school.
