Dr. Andres A. Abreu M.D., joined the Departament of Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow after obtaining his medical degree from UCV in Caracas, Venezuela. As a coordinator of the Robotic Surgery Training Program, he is passionate about surgical education and curriculum development for residents at UTSW. Additionally, his clinical interests include peritoneal surface malignancies, disparities in acces to cancer treatments, global surgery and upper GI robotic surgery. Andres looks forward to continuing his surgical training as a 2023-2024 surgery resident applicant.
