I am a 6th year medical student and an aspiring academic surgeon. Currently, I am focused on research in oncologic surgery, bariatric surgery, minimally invasive surgery, global surgery, and obesity. I have extensive experience in leadership, teamwork, and research. As for now, I have published 9 original articles and 26 posters and abstracts in high impact journals such as The Lancet, BMC Surgery and The American Journal of Surgery.
