Floris Verheij is studying medicine at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where he follows an MD/PhD program. In 2019 Floris Verheij started as a PhD student at the Netherlands Cancer Institute - Antoni van Leeuwenhoek [under supervision of Prof. Geerard Beets]. His research focusses on locally advanced and metastatic colorectal cancer. Currently he is working as a research fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, under supervision of Prof. Julio Garcia-Aguilar.
