My name is Arsha Ostowari and I am currently a clinical PGY 3 in General Surgery at the University of California Irvine Medical Center who is interested in pursuing a career in surgical oncology. I completed my undergraduate at the University of California Los Angeles, after which I moved to Washington DC to continue my education at Georgetown University School of Medicine. I completed a Master's in Physiology and Biophysics in 2015 followed by Medical School in 2019 at Georgetown University of School of Medicine. Afterwards, I moved back to California to start my residency in general surgery at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. After completing the first three clinical years, I began my research year in 2022 in a Surgical Oncology Lab under Dr. Senthil at UCI Medical Center. The research I complete in this lab and under the guidance of other physicians at UCI Medical Center will help me achieve my aspirations in the field of surgical oncology.
