Dr. Margo Shoup is the President of Orlando Health Cancer Institute and Vice President of Orlando Health. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL and completed a general surgery residency and research fellowship at Loyola University in Maywood, IL and a surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York.
After finishing her training, Dr. Shoup returned to Loyola University Medical Center, where from 2002 to 2012, she held the titles of Professor of Surgery, Chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology, Vice Chairman for Clinical Outcomes Research in the Department of Surgery and the Assistant Dean for Clinical and Translational Research for the Stritch School of Medicine.
Before joining Orlando Health, Dr. Shoup led Oncology Institutes at Northwestern in the Chicago suburbs and at Nuvance Health in Connecticut and New York. Dr. Shoup earned an MBA in 2020, and in her current role she oversees clinical, administrative, strategic and financial cancer services for 12 hospitals and sites of cancer care across central Florida.
