I am a Professor the Head of Department of Surgery at St George Hospital, Sydney Australia since 1990. During my time in Australia, I have principally focused on the treament of lung, liver and peritoneal metastasis. I have maintained a cancer research laboratory program for over 30 years. Trained in liver surgery, I developed cryotherapy and radiofrequency ablation systems for management of liver and lung tumours and have since discovered and developed a number of new drugs. Some of these have been commercialised or are late stage in oncology the oncology area. I maintain an active clinical research group and have a H-index of 72.
