General Surgery Resident

I am currently a PGY-4 General Surgery resident at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. I completed my first two years of general surgery training at Washington University. In 2017, I was the recipient of Bobst International fellowship which allowed me to complete a two-year postdoctoral research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I joined the HPB department and worked under the supervision of Dr. William Jarnagin and Dr. Michael D’Angelica. I obtained my MD from the American University of Beirut, and my BSc from the American University of Cairo as a MEPI-Tomorrow's Leaders Scholar. My main research interests are in hepatobiliary malignancies. especially primary and metastatic liver tumors. I am currently a Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship candidate for the year of 2024 and plan on pursuing a career in Surgical Oncology
