Miseker Abate is a Surgical Oncology Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a General Surgery resident at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell. She received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and a Masters in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. Her research of interest now focuses on the immunogenicity, microbiome and molecular characterization of gastric and colon cancer in the U.S., and within the field of global surgical oncology.
