Laura M. Enomoto, MD MSc FACS is originally from Aurora, Colorado and she completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Dartmouth College. She earned a Masters of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University prior to earning her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her general surgery residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center during which time she also completed a research fellowship and earned a Masters of Science in Public Health Sciences. Dr. Enomoto completed a fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
Dr. Enomoto is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine, and a Surgical Oncologist at The University of Tennessee Medical Center, Cancer Institute of Knoxville. Her primary clinical and research interests are in regional perfusion and diseases of the skin and soft tissue.
