Michael Cassidy, MD is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine, a surgical oncologist at Boston Medical Center, and Director of the Belkin Breast Health Center at Boston Medical Center. After earning his MD degree at Boston University School of Medicine, he completed residency in General Surgery at the Boston University Medical Center, and performed a research fellowship in quality improvement and patient safety. Following residency, he completed a clinical fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he was the administrative chief fellow and the David and Monica Gorin Fellow in Sarcoma. His current practice focuses on the care of patients with breast cancer, sarcoma, and melanoma.
