Postdoctoral research fellow
Department of Surgery, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA
I am honored to share my biography at the International Conference on Surgical Cancer Care. I graduated from the Iran University of Medical Sciences in 2016, and since October 2019, I have been working as a postdoctoral research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Surgery Department.
My research interests focus on hepatobiliary cancer immunotherapy, particularly pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Under the guidance of Dr. Cristina Ferrone, I am exploring new immunotherapeutic treatments for these difficult-to-treat cancers. I am incredibly passionate about surgical oncology and the opportunity to help cancer patients in need.
Throughout my research career, I have participated in several prestigious projects which presented at numerous international conferences. I am eager to share my latest findings on the Long-term Outcomes of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex-associated non-functional Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors at this congress.
In the future, I plan to apply for a surgical residency program to gain more hands-on experience in treating cancer patients. I hope to use my training to improve cancer patients' lives and significantly impact surgical oncology.
Thank you for this opportunity to share my work with you. I look forward to learning from other experts at this congress and continuing to collaborate in the fight against cancer.
