Hayley Dunlop is a third-year medical student at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Global Health in 2019. She completed a Master of Public Health from the University of Edinburgh in 2020, where her dissertation research examined socioeconomic disparities in breast cancer survival, recurrence, and treatment for Scottish women. Hayley was selected for a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center following her first year of medical school, where she published a study investigating racial and ethic disparities in accrual to early cancer drug development trials. Her research interests include cancer disparities and health equity, and she plans to pursue a career as an academic surgeon.
