Dr Mark Hanna, is an assistnant clinical professor of surgery at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer in Duarte, California. He is board certified in both general surgery and colon & rectal surgery.
Specializing in minimally invasive and robotic surgery to treat colorectal cancer, Dr. Hanna is passionate about offering his patients the latest surgical options which enable faster recovery, decreased postoperative pain and shorter hospital stay.
Dr. Hanna received his medical degree from American University of Beirut Medical School and completed his internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center and his residency training at UC Irvine Medical School. He then completed a combined colon and rectal surgery fellowship at New York Presbyterian — Weill Cornell Medical Center/Columbia University Medical Center as well as the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
