Assistant Professor of Surgery
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute
I am a surgical oncologist who specializes in treating patients diagnosed with complex gastrointestinal malignancies, with a focus on advanced or metastatic cancers originating from the appendix, colon, rectum, stomach, small intestine and peritoneal surface. I am an expert in cancer regional therapies, including cytoreductive surgery (CRS), hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemoperfusion (HIPEC) and hepatic artery infusion (HAI) pump therapy. In addition to my clinical duties, I am a full-time basic and translational scientist investigating how cancer cells spread or metastasize.
