Sam C. Wang, MD, FACS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Wang earned his medical degree at the Duke University School of Medicine, completed general surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and complex general surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Wang cares for patients with foregut malignancies. In the lab, Dr. Wang is using patient-derived xenografts, organoids, and transgenic mice to identify novel therapies for pancreas, liver, and gastric cancers.
