Simran is a second-year medical student at the National University of Ireland, Galway. She received an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
In medical school, Simran’s research projects are focused on hereditary breast cancer, effects of long COVID-19, and exercise physiology. In addition to her research, Simran is actively involved in advocacy as the founder for a society “Ireland Women in Medicine”. Representation for those underserved and underrepresented lays the foundation for Simran’s work. She also enjoys hiking and traveling in her free time.
After completing medical school, Simran plans to pursue a career in academic medicine, combining her passion for research with clinical practice. She hopes to make significant contributions to the field of personalized medicine and to improve patient care through her research.
