This multi-disciplinary course is intended to update maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists on new evidence-based strategies for labor management, particularly for high-risk patients. Participants will learn about contemporary evidence for high-quality intrapartum care and strategies to optimize maternal and neonatal outcomes on the labor and delivery unit. Participants will also be able to review equitable approaches to patient-centered intrapartum care to further maximize their roles as MFMs on labor and delivery units. We aim for a unique approach to labor and delivery education that offers solutions to contemporary problems that are applicable to MFMs from around the world and address high yield topics that are different from traditional labor management courses.
