Patrick S. Ramsey, MD, MSPH is Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA). He serves as the UTHSCSA/University Health System (UHS) Chief of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Medical Director for Maternal Transport and Outreach, Maternal Medical Director for the University Hospital Level IV Maternal Center and Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Training Program.
Dr. Ramsey received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1987 and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN in 1998 and subsequently completed subspecialty fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he remained on faculty until 2009. He also received a Master of Science in Public Health with emphasis in Epidemiology/International Health in 2003. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and serves as an oral board examiner for both OB/GYN and MFM for ABOG.
