Courtney D. Lynch, PhD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Epidemiology at The Ohio University Colleges of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Lynch received her PhD in maternal and child health epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed pre and postdoctoral training in reproductive epidemiology at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Dr. Lynch is NIH-funded and her research interests include: the identification of modifiable risk factors for fecundity impairment, including infertility and pregnancy loss, optimizing women’s delivery of healthcare delivery in the postpartum period, and pregnancy-related and infant mortality. She is a Past President of the Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research and serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiology.
