Katherine Campbell, MD, MPH is Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the Yale School of Medicine. Born and raised in Northern MIchigan, she attended Colby College and then went on to receive an MPH from Tulane School of Public Heath and Tropical Medicine and her medical degree from Michigan State University Colege of Human Medicine. She completed her OB/Gyn Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and her Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. She joined the MFM faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology & Reproductive sciences at the Yale School of Medicine in 2012.
As Medical Director of the inpatient obstetrics services at Yale New Haven Hospital, Dr. Campbell enjoys working collaboratively with her team to promote patient safety and quality through leading programs like the Yale Severe Maternal Morbidity Review Committee and the Yale Proactive Care Planning Committee. Additionally, she co-Directs the Yale Maternal Cardiac Program, a multi-disciplinary program that cares for patients with congenital and acquired heart dusease in and around pregnancy and provide education and research oportunities for future leaders in this area of medicine.
In her free time, Kat enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs doing pretty much anything outdoors - hiking, swimming, skiing, and enjoying campfires.
