Dr. Jose Duncan is an Assistant Professor in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division at the University of South Florida.
He received his medical school degree from the Escuela Autonoma de Ciencias Medicas de Centro America in 1999 in Costa Rica. After 2 years of internship, he practiced as a General Physician in Panama until moving to Detroit, MI, where he completed his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency in 2007 at DMC/Wayne State University. After residency, he practiced as an obstetrician/gynecologist in Las Vegas, NV and served as clinical faculty for the University of Nevada School of Medicine. After 8 years in clinical practice, he completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2018.
His interests include prenatal diagnosis, fetal malformations and surveillance, preterm prelabor rupture of membranes, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and salpingectomy at the time of cesarean delivery.
