Dr. Julie Moldenhauer is Chief of the Division of Obstetrics-Gynecology, Medical Director of the Garbose Family Special Delivery Unit and Director of Obstetrical Services in the Richard D. Wood Jr. Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment (CFDT) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the George Leib Harrison Endowed Chair in Fetal Therapy. She is Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Clinical Genetics. Her clinical focus is in prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy. Dr. Moldenhauer also has a particular interest in outcomes after open maternal fetal surgery and EXIT procedures, examining how fetal conditions and their treatment can place mothers at increased risk for complications. She believes that with a better understanding of the interrelation of mother and baby, we can improve the outcome for both.
