Dr. Hye Heo, MD is an Associate Professor at NYU Langone Health System who is a board-certified diplomat of ABOG in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine and ABPM in Clinical Informatics. She is the Director of Diabetes in Pregnancy and Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program at NYU Langone Hospital- Long Island. She serves as the NYU Langone Health System’s Physician Informaticist for the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Glycemic Control Oversight Group, and Executive Patient Safety Committee.
Nationally, Dr. Heo is the lead on the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinical Informatics Epic Subcommittee and serves on the Epic Obstetric Steering Board and MFM Think Tank. Her clinical and research focuses on working to establish gold standards for Electronic Health Record and incorporating the use of health IT innovations within the specialty to improve obstetricians’ quality of care and productivity.
