Loïc Sentilhes is MD, PhD, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chairman of the Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine Department at Bordeaux University Hospital, France, since 2016.
He is coordinating the development of the Obstetrics guidelines of the French College of Gynecologists and Obstetricians since 2011.
His main research interests include prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage in particular in case of placenta accreta spectrum and by use of tranexamic acid (He was the PI of the TRAAP and TRAAP2 trials). He has published more than 350 articles in international peer review journals.
He is Fellow ad eundem of the RCOG since 2019.
