Karin Fox, M.D., M.Ed. is an Associate Professor & Fellowship Directtor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and the Director of Matenral Transport at Texas Children's Hospital. Her primary interests are in the Placenta Accreta Spectrum, complex surgical deliveries, postpartum hemorrhage and the management of pregnancy in women with diabetes and obesity. She serves on the SMFM Education Committee and helps coordinate the SMFM Fellows Lecture Series. Prior to becoming a physican, she served in active duty in the U.S. Army as a medic and ambulance driver. Whenver she can, she swims, skates or paddleboards with her 3 kids & spends time with her spouse.
