Dr. Camille Powe is a physician-investigator in the Diabetes Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor of both Medicine and Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. Her clinical and scientific focus is endocrine and metabolic disease in pregnant women. Clinically, she is an adult endocrinologist and the Co-Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Diabetes in Pregnancy Program. Her clinical-translational research program is funded by the NIDDK, NICHD, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program. Dr. Powe employs physiology, genetics, and technology to investigate the metabolic underpinnings and consequences of hyperglycemia in pregnancy, with a special focus on heterogeneity. She is passionate about making sure that the obstetric population benefits from the latest advances in diabetes investigation and care.
