Hello, I'm Torre Halscott, MD, MS, an Assistant Professor in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I obtained my medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and during my fellowship training, I also obtained a Master's degree in Clinical and Translational Research from Georgetown University. I performed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, Orlando Health, as well as fellowships in Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Maternal-Fetal Medicine between programs at Georgetown University and the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix/Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix.
My focuses are on maternal medical complications in pregnancy, critical care obstetrics, labor and delivery management, medical education, and promotion of collaborative care. In addition to my clinical duties, I am involved in research and written educational endeavors, speaking at numerous conferences and symposia, as well as peer review for several journals in both Obstetrics as well as Critical Care.
