Dr Joane Stone MD MS is a Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. She serves as the System Chair for the Department of Obsterics, Gynecology and Reprodutive Sciences for the Mount Sinai Health System Previously she was the System Director of MFM and the Fellowship Director.
Dr. Stone is the President of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine. She also serves on the Board for the Foundation for Maternal Fetal Medicine. Her primary research focuses on the management of multiple gestations. She has a special interest in invasive procedures and has been involved in several RCTs on labor induction.
