This session is an interactive, case-based review by experienced IRs on procedural complications and associated teaching points related to Interventional Oncology procedures. Dissecting how complications occur, how they can be prevented and how they are managed provides valuable learning for the audience, for trainees and practitioners at all levels. The speakers will show cases with complications related to biopsies, radioembolization, TACE and thermal ablation.

Demonstrate complication prevention and treatment approaches in a case-based session emphasizing
Execute management strategies for common and rarer interventional oncology complications
Identify important decision making points and learning opportunities in complications related to interventional oncology
