Nerve Block Boot Camp for the Interventional Radiologist at SIR2023: We designed this introductory + intermediate-level categorical course to provide organized, high-yield, actionable information for IRs to bring from SIR directly home to their practice. In addition to anatomic and technical discussions of nerve techniques, discussions will include billing information and service line growth strategies.

Learning Objectives:

Identify opportunities for enhanced analgesia using nerve blocks and regional anesthesia techniques during Interventional Radiology procedures
Understand medications and techniques utilized in current and emerging interventions to block and ablate nerves
Understand techniques of passive and active neuroprotection available to the Interventional Radiologist
