An interactive case-based workshop on the management of difficult fibroids, including management of giant fibroids, leiomyomatosis uteri, postmenopausal fibroids, mixed fibroids and adenomyosis; management of submucosal fibroids, to predict, prevent and treat potential complications; differentiating fibroids from sarcoma; UFE and fertility; management of ovarian artery and utero-ovarian collaterals; how to collaborate with gynaecologists. Cases are presented; panel and audience are invited to discuss and comment.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participant will be able to competently identify fibroids that might pose post UFE complications and proactively manage difficult fibroid cases.
Upon completion, participant will be able to identify atypical fibroids and apply MRI with DWI to differentiate fibroids from sarcomas.
Upon completion, participant will be able to confidently discuss UFE and fertility related issues; manage ovarian artery and utero-ovarian collaterals; collaborate with gynaecologists to maximise fertility potential.
